Five businesses in the Greenwood-Phinney neighborhood are acting as Green Smart’s pilot businesses. Each from a different sector, they are going through the process of assessing their carbon footprint, developing an action plan, and implementing changes within their business to reduce their waste stream, improve energy efficiency, and improve overall sustainainability. All businesses are Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce members, as must be all businesses that receive promotion through this program.
